We welcome you to register your interest to join us on one of our Treasure Tour days.
We are really looking forward to giving you a unique opportunity to see how some communities are growing and building good community life together. It's fun, it's intentional and it's messy and the invitation is to come and meet people who are doing this and hear from them how they are getting on.
We will be hosting three separate days, over the next nine months, the first of which will be Wednesday 2nd July. You can sign up to join us for one of these.
Each day will involve meeting in Balsall Heath for 9.30am and returning to Balsall Heath for 4.30pm. We will be travelling by coach together to meet people in Birmingham neighbourhoods. We will provide your lunch.
The coach journey will give us the opportunity to prepare to be curious and respectful on our visits and on the way back we will be sharing what we have seen, felt and experienced during the day.
During each visit we will be hosted by local people, groups and organisations who will share their experience and stories of how local people make their contribution to growing their communities. This will be an active and participatory day and we hope you will return inspired, motivated and thinking about what might be next for you and your community.
On 11th September 10am -12pm we will host a two- hour gathering to hear from each other about what the tour day has revealed to you and what might be next for you in your place and as part of Community Treasure.
